Traveling to the UK just got easier for JCB cardholders. They can now pay for their Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) fees using JCB cards. Starting January 8, 2025, travelers from certain countries and territories must already secure the travel authorization before visiting the UK. As of September 2024, the United Kingdom has already issued over 600,000 ETA.
Costing just GBP 10, the ETA grants multiple entries over a two-year period. Travelers can apply via the UK ETA app or the official website, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. There, they can select JCB as they preferred payment solutions provider.
